CONSERVATIVE COMMENTARY DEDICATED TO THE

AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE
UNITED STATES: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the
security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear
Arms, shall
not be
infringed."
(It's not about hunting ducks) ********************************************************************************* Blowing
off steam: Those who
currently propose that Osama bin Laden and his evil band
should be issued an arrest warrant and brought before the bar of
justice as an
alternative to war should be challenged as to the appropriateness of a
Nuremberg type trial for the huge number of Communist leaders and
western
"useful idiots" who have escaped accountability entirely with the
collapse of various evil empires. The agenda of Statist Liberals
can be
readily discerned by examining the vectors of their alleged concern and
hate. In the present instance, those most directly responsible
were
Islamic zealots who captured and flew four American aircraft into
eternity.
They are already dead by their own hand and I would doubt they are in
Paradise. Their surviving colleagues around the world are
equally
guilty of acts of war and I have no interest in examining their motives
or
their excuses. To do so is to engage in moral temporizing and
relativism, and
to advance a process of declaring that the real victims are the purps
and the
real purps are the victims. It is a given that the Liberal
American
mainstream press will eagerly assist as a transmission belt for Taliban
propaganda
in this effort. I am sick and tired of Liberal "journalists",
shrinks and trial lawyers perverting the fundamental fact of free will
and
personal responsibility. Murder is murder, whether caused by
misguided
religion or too much Prozac. America and Americans need not
apologize for
anything. The only civilized response to evil is war and the
unconditional
destruction of our identified enemies. This is not a time for
lawyers,
but for soldiers, seeking not surrender but destruction. God can
sort out
the consequences more convincingly than F. Lee Bailey or the New York
Times. To
temporize is to be complicit. Freedom, patriotism and courage
versus
slavery, totalitarianism and fear. America, love it or leave
it.
God bless America and Benjamin Netanyahu. America has
its own
Taliban, namely the ACLU. "Through the
dust clouds of September 11, and during the
difficult task ahead, one person hovers over the wreckage - and that is
Bill
Clinton. His legacy gets darker with each passing day."
Andrew
Sullivan, The Sunday London Times. The Democrat
Politburo continues in the OJ Billyboy tradition of
subverting America's ability to defend itself and demonizing private
capitalist
culture, and freedom. I would suggest that those of you who
continue to
pull that donkey lever from this day forward, given the intellectual
perversion
of the last 35 years, are totally feckless. It appears to me that
your
continuing efforts to portray George W. Bush as incapable reflect, in
fact, a
fear on your part that such a charge should be applied to the Democrat
Politburo.
In fact, you know the Democrat Politburo is culpable and a largely
feminized
pack of pacifists and socialists who are ashamed of America. As
an
American Nationalist Conservative, my concern with the President comes
from the
opposite direction; that ideologically he is too Liberal and too
willing to
compromise with those of you who would destroy him and anyone who
represents
and advances the conservative perspective. However whatever my
concerns
about the President, he is not incapable. Liberals enjoy that
monopoly. Bush
Score Card:
Good
Job: - The
President's speech before Congress outlining the American
response to the recent attacks upon our country was a masterstroke.
- On 10/07
our conventional forces got to business. A key to
the success of this effort has to be that it remains an American
affair,
consisting of a variety of coalitions that can be individually
summoned
and adjusted according to our bi-lateral interests. What
needs to
be avoided is the morphing of a single coalition into an
international
model under which America would inevitable lose control of events and
have its
interests subject to an extra-American veto. That is the mistake
made in
1991, the consequence of which is that Saddam Hussein is still running
around
loose and the Iraqi people continue to suffer so much. President
Bush, please keep General Wesley Clark at a great
distance. The Balkan policy model is exactly what is not
needed.
Your announced policy of unconditional surrender by terrorists is what
is
needed. Dead or alive, but of course, preferably dead. Your economic
stimulus package, including the capital gains tax
cuts and the acceleration features, is excellent and the timing is
perfect.
Make Congress do it and hack into the domestic spending and corporate
welfare
while you're at it. Go do it. This is exactly what the
national
economy needs right now, not next spring.
Not
So Good: I am
disturbed that you apparently continue to find it necessary
to continue to imply an Israeli fault in their failure to make peace
with their
Palestinian tormentors. That is the height of hypocrisy.
Palestinians, and apparently all Arabs, want Israel driven into the
sea.
The need for attitude adjustments resides elsewhere than Tel Aviv. Perhaps you
need to consult with Rudy Giuliani who had the good
sense to return un-cashed a $10,000,000 check to a certain Saudi prince.
Terrible: There you go,
playing kiss-ass with the Greenies. Just leave
General Electric and the trace amounts of PCB's at the bottom of the
Hudson
River alone. It's not clear to me that G E ever violated
the law,
or that in the current context the striped bass are unsafe to
eat. Before
you tear up the river bottom perhaps you ought to check in with the
hard
working stiffs (who tended to vote for you) and solicit their thoughts.
Either
get that Christie Todd Whitman under control or show her the
door. She's
just another northeastern Republican running amuck. There are
still domestic affairs to be considered. The
reluctance of this President, and the Republican party in general, to
take on
the issues of quotas, set-asides and affirmative action (reverse
racism) is a
primary reason I am not a Republican. The recent decision by the
Administration to flip off Randy and Valery Pech (Adarand Constructors)
is
sickening. Ad
Nausium: American
National Conservatism will prevail with time and patience
for the simple reason that it is framed on objective reality and the
truth. Sadly, the human species, as a whole, may not do as well,
but some
of us will make our best effort. A serious concern through the tensions
and
emotion of the present crisis is that Statist Liberals will advance
their
agenda at the expense of the Constitution and America's founding
principles. I simply do not trust them. Americans
currently are understandably focused on events in the
Middle East and the Islamic world. I would suggest, however, that
the
greater long range challenge, and interest, remains in the Far
East. In
reconfiguring our military, diplomatic and economic postures from the
inept
nihilism of the 90's, we must take into account the challenges
presented by all
of Asia and North Africa. The immediate problem is that our
curtailed
force structures, real and imagined, leave us vulnerable in the Far
East to
miscalculation by our advisories. The current situation in the
Middle
East works in favor of Communist China and North Korea and against the
interests of America and our Far Eastern allies. There ought to
be an
item in the U.S. Code that adds Liberal inspired pacifism to the
definition of
treason. Conservatives,
as a fundamental premise, insist on judging people
as individuals, not as members of a group. Conservatives are also
first
in line to defend the right of people to freely and openly worship God
as they
choose as specified under the original intent of the First
Amendment.
Accordingly, it is with great interest on my part that the President's
principled extension of this concept to Muslims worldwide seems to be
meeting
with a deafening silence. I am not particularly surprised by this
given
that even many American citizens seem not to understand the discussion
within
the context of our own system. However, under the current
circumstances,
it is pertinent that while a Christian or Jewish American is subject to
great
scrutiny for questioning the motives of a Muslim, there is no
condemnation if
the matter is reversed. Given the general silence of Muslim
clerics, or,
at best, a stream of excuses and victimology, perhaps we need to
consider the
possibility that Osama bin Laden's interpretation of the Koran is the
dominate
position of the faith. Then we are, in fact, in a religious war
not of
our choosing. Americans, by
nature, are a very generous people, arguably the
most generous on earth. It is hard to imagine any other peoples
going to
such an extreme, given the provocations visited upon Americans, to
recognize
the distinction between the tormentors and the innocent civilian
populations
the tormentors claim to represent. I refer, of course, to
the food
and medical airdrops to Afghani civilians. However Americans must
be
careful with this, and realistic. We should recognize that it is
our
wealth and power that affords us the luxury of such generosity and at
the same
time, in the minds of many Americans, our military response is a source
of
guilt with respect to those less fortunate. Given the objective
imperatives
of the situation, I would caution my fellow Americans about imagining
too much
the complete innocence of much of the civilian populations of
Afghanistan or
any other country in the region. Bombing them with pop-tarts is
unlikely
to change their allegiance. The Taliban and their supporters
enjoy wide
popularity, and there is no such thing as an anti-septic war. Wealth, such
as it exists at all in the Middle East, was generated
by American oil companies beginning in the 1930's. That is the
component
of our relationship with the area that must be withdrawn eventually to
restore
a more realistic accountability among Muslims of their own
importance. We
really do not need their oil, or the aggravation. In the meantime
we are
at war and civilians will suffer. Is it really necessary to
remind
ourselves that this got started by a deliberate attack on our civilian
population at the cost of thousands? I don't think so. Let
us
remember that our one true friend in the area, and the only democracy,
is Israel,
from whom we should learn much. The nuclear
option
remains on the table, as it should be. So what now
is the position of the Democrat Politburo on the
closing of the Vieques bombing range off Puerto Rico? It is a
matter of
fact that today there are Navy and Marine pilots on the way to war
whose
training has been compromised by the shameless interference of the
likes of
Terry McAuliffe (read OJ Billyboy), the Reverend Al Sharpton and
Hillary Peron
Clinton. Perhaps
Americans should give pause this year to making
politically correct contributions to UNICEF. What tiny portion of
these
contributions actually gets into the hands of the advertised recipients
is
labeled UNITED NATIONS. U.N. bureaucrats are an increasingly
dubious set
of international extortion artists. If pop-tarts remain your
weapon of
choice, consider giving to an American charity so that the packages are
labeled
U.S.A. I'm getting
sick and tired of the Liberal inspired attack on the
character of the American cowboy. The American cowboy is as
American as
apple pie and motherhood. American cowboys will have their
fingerprints
all over our pending military efforts, as they always have in the past.
Now,
honestly, would you prefer to share your foxhole with an American
cowboy or a
Liberal? People who have problems with cowboys are generally
ashamed to
be Americans. "When I take
action, I'm not going to fire a $2 million
missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt. It's
going to be
decisive." President George W. Bush 09/17/01. I would
recommend to the President that we seek Israel's support
in deploying an Israeli brigade of half-naked female commandos on PMS
against
the Taliban. Certainly this would be effective. One
subversive technique rapidly gaining favor among Liberal Statists
and Environmentalists is the "precautionary principle". For
example, they assert that high voltage transmission lines may
constitute a health hazard, therefore a newly proposed line should
not be
approved until it can be proven that there is no hazard.
Practical examples of this reasoning abound all over, and for the
gullible this
is an effective way politically to disable the economy, foreign and
domestic
policies, the military, indeed the entire country. In fact I
believe that's
what it's all about. Now that it
is time to severely cut unnecessary Federal domestic
spending I would suggest that it an ideal time to raise the issue of
constitutional authority as criteria. I would further suggest
that among
the hundreds, if not thousands, of un-constitutional spending
activities at the
Federal level is the matter of the "War on Drugs". As
distasteful as it is for me to say it, as I read the
Constitution, I find no authority therein for a Federal effort to save
people
from themselves, albeit the consumption of drugs, cigarettes, bad
whiskey or
sodium hydroxide. Clearly the authority exists to regulate
interstate
commerce, but not voluntary individual activities and consumption in a
free
market society. As Conservatives, I think we are depriving
ourselves of
the benefits of the laws of social Darwinism in depriving stupid
anti-social
people from the opportunity to destroy (kill) themselves. Our tax
dollars, at the local level, would be better spent assisting the actual
victims
left behind. The legal battle, at the Federal level, should focus on
the
unauthorized interstate distribution of deadly formulated substances as
identified by peer-reviewed privately funded scientists
chartered with
the burden of proving actual imminent physical harm. (Plutonium
might
qualify.) But let any users kill themselves legally and
settle
their own accounts with God. Good riddens. This would also
tend to
improve the quality of voter registration records. Heartland

been made available to any good red-blooded

defray the
costs of its anti-UN campaign. Consider them as sort of non-redeemable
